THE TALE OF THE SIGNATURE BY REGUS PROJECT

In 2020 we worked together with our partners at CONSTRUCTORS DE GMBH to create a Signature by Regus project: a working area in the business district of Kranhaus Nord in Cologne, Germany, inside a majestic and modern building near the Rhine river.

CHALLENGE

As our Head of Project Management puts it: “In June 2020, the whole World was in lockdown, creating various challenges: procurement of materials on site; use of integrated technologies; skilled labor sent from Italy and more.”

SOLUTION

Complying with COVID-19 safety regulations and required protocols, and coordinating each step from HQ as if we were operating in our backyard, we completed the project on time. None of our staff got infected, which was a huge relief.

The Italian softness that interprets Nordic functionalism. It’s a Signature project that winks at the style of the ‘50s and ‘60s, a minimalist concept that was popularized by Italian and Dutch designers, playing with the different shades of wood.

MATERIALES THAT TELL
A STORY

For this Signature by Regus project, Grottini furnished the place with elements that combine two different wooden essences: American walnut and Toulipier. The dark wood of the surroundings creates a contrast in color with the ivory-like stuffed seats in faux leather, and the iron structure of the tables gives back an industrial vibe of proactivity.

A GREENER AND HAPPIER
WORK APPROACH

Hybrid working is greener, it keeps people happier and more focused. That’s why workplace flexibility is an important value that, mixed with a human centric design, is able to shape a coworking space suitable for the biggest corporations. Companies such as Microsoft, Airbnb, Disney, Spotify and many others, already have chosen what hybrid working has to offer, thanks to their partnership with IWG, a World leader in this field.

A BETTER TALENT RETENTION

One of the pros of enforcing the use of coworking spaces is the ability to keep the best talents and secure more productivity from over 91% of the employees. After the pandemic, 39% of workers prefer to work from a hybrid space, while before it was the 19% (Sources: IWG – Global Workspaces Survey, 2019 and YouGov 2021).
